I received the dress and it is not as described. Help.
What do I do if I receive a dress that is misrepresented in the listing?
There's nothing more disappointing than FINALLY getting your dream dress only to discover it's not fully what you hoped for, and we are so sorry to hear that the dress you purchased did not meet your expectations!
Whether the dress was:
- Damaged
- Different than expected
- Not in the condition you were expecting it to be
What you do in this situation depends on the form of payment used to purchase your dress.
Paid With PayPal
Our recommendation is always to try and resolve the situation directly with the seller first; however, if that isn't possible you’ll want to navigate to the resolution center on paypal.com to get started on opening a dispute.
You can read more about the process here: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/security/buyer-protection-resolution.
Did NOT Pay Using PayPal
If you did not purchase the dress through a protected form of payment like PayPal or Escrow, you will need to look into what protection is offered via the form of payment you did choose.
OnceWed.com recommends avoiding payment with personal or cashier's check, wire transfers, gift cards, Venmo, and any other cash transfer apps. With these methods, there is no buyer or seller protection.
